I have the correct mucus but am testing negative on ovulation test. am i ovulating still?

Regular menses?: Testing the stretchiness of the cervical mucus is highly subjective and not the best way to test for ovulation. Having said that, ovulation predictor kits don't work for every woman either. If your periods are regular (occur about every month) then that is a very good indication that you're ovulating. Ovulation typically occurs about 2 weeks prior to the start of the menses.
