Progesterone effect: Progesterone is the hormone secreted by the ovary starting at ovulation: it prepares the uterine lining and cervix for possible pregnancy. The cervical mucus will dry up to impede entrance to bacteria. Spermatozoa have to travel up the cervix before ovulation takes place. Time intercourse when mucus is is most fluid, test for ovulation twice a day: i think you're be missing the early surge of lh.
