Doctor can check: Urinary symptoms such as dysuria (burning on urination) that go away while on antibiotics and return afterwards, should be evaluated by her primary care doctor. Urinalysis and a urine culture can be done, to see if there is truly a urine infection... or some other cause of dysuria. If there is a urine infection, the urine culture will show whether or not there are antibiotic resistant bacteria.
