How could i determine if my tailbone is bruised or broken?

X - ray: If you took hard fall on buttocks. It can be very painful for while - right at sacrum- coccyx " tail bone". Apply cold pack, dont sit on hard surface. If bruise, persistent severe pain- see doctor to consider X Ray. It eventualy heal but you may need physical therapy later when acute pain subsides .,Use Advil/ Tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed for pain relieve( unless allrgic to it).
