Hi doctor i have a pap test done done like 2 months ago and every time i have sex with my husband when he penetrates it hurts? how long does it heal?

Not PAP smear: It is unlikely that PAP smear is cause of pain on intercourse. It is not feasible to know the cause of pain without examining you. You should consult your gynecologist for an evaluation. In the mean time try using liberal amount of lubricant like K-Y jelly. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
