Is it normal for a person in good health to have muscle cramping around the heart every now and then? i suffer from acid reflux and that's it.

Cramps: I doubt that your symptoms are cardiac related although I can't be sure without more description. Chest discomfort can be from the esophagus, rib cage or lungs or their lining. For diagnosis consult your physician or a cardiologist who will take a thorough history, perform a physical examination and order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.
