Hint- sitz baths: Yes this can happen and the antibiotics area good idea. I also suggest buying about 10-15 lbs of Epsom salts and having her soak in 4-6 inches of warm water with 1-2 pounds of Epsom salts stirred in...should help a lot. Also. use Advil or Aleve (naproxen) if she is not allergic. Trim you fingernails and always consider personal lubricant.
