Why would my need to urinate increase the later it is @ night, and also be more frequent the less i eat and drink. this has been occurring for 20yrs.

Good question: Your body horizontal , allows your heart to increase circulation thru your kidneys... Increasing urine . Less fluids , the body has to preserve water , making less and more concentrated urine. Fluid restriction is hard on your kidneys , and only used in end stage heart failure. You ask good questions , are you under a doc's care: is fair to ask them these things.
