Ovulation pain: Some women feel their ovulation pain which occurs about two weeks prior to the menses. Pain in that area can be interpreted by your body as a menstrual cramp even though it's really coming from your ovary. You can use over the counter ovulation predictor kits (purchased at your local pharmacy) to see if this pain coincides with your LH surge (hormonal signal for ovulation).
