A member asked:

Can diffuse sclerotic bone metastatic deposits eventually resolve through normal remodeling, assuming cancer stays inactive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: These do not regress as long as the cancer is there, unless the cancer is overgrown by a tumor with different biology. The cancer creates and maintains the abnormal remodeling that results in the blastic lesion.
