Not very unusual: It's not unusual for women on birth control pills to have scant or even no period. It doesn't signify pregnancy, but it can cause you to unnecessarily worry over the possibility. If you are on a low dose BCP with 10-25 mcg of ethinyl estradiol switching to a pill with 30-35 mcg of estradiol may restore normal periods.
