Need a bit more info: Lump on the spinous process would not involve nerve. Injury could cause a crushed vertebra and a "hump".TB is rare in the US but that could be a problem, Bone tumors are rare there. A sweat gland (seborrheic) cyst is more common and can be fairly fixed. In any case, a few days-even a week or two-delay should not change your prognosis. No doc for weeks sounds like poor care. See a nurse.
