See below: Symptoms can disappear with partial treatment. If you do not complete the course of treatment, the residual bacteria may flare up again. Partial treatment also promoted antibiotic resistance in bacteria. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Here are some...: Real infection of kidneys has been known to involve the thick heterogeneous kidney tissue which poses more difficulty for antibiotics to penetrate to kill germs thoroughly as opposed to UTI limited to bladder and urethra. Chiefly, experience has proved the adequate length of using antibiotics for the infection at different organs by different germs. But personal immunity also plays important role.
