My 20 month old ran into an open drawer 11 days ago and she started bruising the next day right above her eye. the bruise is migrating. is this normal?

Due to gravity: Blood under the skin of facial bruises will migrate in the direction of gravity. Bruises above the eyes will spread to below the eyes, giving the "raccoon eyes" appearance. If worried, one's pediatrician can take a look to see if there is anything unusual there. The eyes should move together symmetrically in each direction, just as they did prior to the facial trauma.
