A member asked:

I was diagnosed with havin a bulgin disk in my back. can stretchin or bein active help? have difficulty sitting up 2 long or find a comfy way to sleep

Disc: Most disk problems can resolve within 4-6 weeks without specific treatment except anti-inflammatory medications, pain medication and occasional muscle relaxants. I don't recommend active exercises involving your back while you're symptomatic. Avoid prolonged sitting or standing but stay normally active. If symptoms remain severe after 4to6 weeks, consult pain management specialist or neurosurgeon
