Chronicity: Insomnia is a chronic inability to fall asleep or remain asleep for an adequate length of time. When your sleep disorder becomes more chronic as opposed to an occassional lack of sleep or difficulty sleeping, is when you need to seek medical attention. The best daignosis would be made by a sleep specialsit at a sleep center. Good luck.
