See GI +/- ENT: If the problem has been present for weeks, acid reflux is a likely probability. If you have trouble swallowing, consider seeing a GI doctor. Frequently a condition known as Eosinophilic esophagitis may present in this manner and you will then need to consult an allergist as well.
