Yes: Chlamydia is often very silent. It can be present for years before you have symptoms. Best wishes!

Very unlikely: It would be unlikely to get symptoms of chlamydia (or any other STD) more than a couple of weeks after catching it. You don't say what symptoms you have, but if no sex for mroe than 6 months, probably they aren't due to any STD affecting the genital area, urinary tract, etc. But stop guessing or trying to figure it out from online forums. See your doctor for proper evaluation.
