Read the paperwork: You can safely take all the pills the surgeon prescribed for you. Read the literature that came with the prescription and stop taking them if you start to have any of the side effects.

High dose: By now your surgical pain should be easing off, and therefore your need to be as heavily medicated. If you still hurt, call the Oral Surgeon. If you have questions, call your Oral Surgeon. If you're not sure, call the Oral Surgeon.
