Hve been on 120 methadone maintenance for 16 yrs. i have weaned myself down to 50 n past 2 months . what dosage will be safe to just stop taking it?

Any dose: Withdrawal from methadone is safe for a reasonably healthy (and non pregnant) person from any dose. Having said that, you would be more comfortable continuing to taper slowly to about 5 or 10mg , then stopping.
