Constipation: Are you sure that your pain is from a kidney infection? In my experience kidney infections cause fever when there is associated stones or some obstruction along with the infection. Constipation doesn't usually affect kidney pain. Perhaps it is caused by medications you are taking. If you have no urge to have a bowel movement, try senokotS (senna). Otherwise try dulcolax rectal suppository. See your MD!
