What medication to take for severe headache and throat pain. feel like having water clogged in the head and having severe throat pain.

If not allergic....: I suggest trying Aleve (naproxen) OR Advil for relief of pain. Additionally, zinc lozenges ( Cold-Eze ) and dark brown honey along with warm water gargles and 8-10 glasses of fluid daily.
