STDs go hand in hand: There could be two problems. One you may have a drug resistant chlamydia and need a different medication or the medication you were given was not the right one. Or you could have a co-infection (seen frequently in large urban settings) with gonorrhea and need a shot to cure that as well. In some communities gc and chlamydia are co-infections up to 70% of the time. But, the tests do not catch.
