The current treat-: ment for gonorrhea is 1 gm of azithromycin followed by a shot of rocephin(ceftriaxone)250 mg IM. ,due to resistance of gonorrhea germ. You might not have been treated thoroughly enough to get rid of the gonorrhea.

Treated 4 oral chlamydia/gonorrhea. Took azithromycin for 6 days. other symptoms have gone away except for a persistent mild to moderate sore throat.
