A member asked:

Is it normal to have smaller bowel movements when you eat less? i have been eating less and my stool is less.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually yes, but...: Usually YES, but it also depends on what one eats. For example, a person who eats 1 pound of lettuce may have bigger stools than a person who eats more that a pound of ice cream, because the lettuce has fiber while the ice cream does not. Fiber gives bigger poops.
