My tsh is 3.87, up from 1.7 in 2014. my free t4 is 1.15. my mom/grandma have hasimotos. i have symptoms of hypo. should i be concerned and get meds?

No: You are not hypothyroid. The earliest sign of future potential hypothyroidism would be elevation of TSH. Your labs are normal.*Be aware that since the symptoms of possible hypothyroidism are SO numerous there is a segment of physicians, who have a financial incentive, who claim patients with normal TSH and FT4 can be hypothyroid. They practice outside of mainstream medicine and should be avoided
