I hit my left temple pretty hard today on some wood and it had been hurting all day. i have a head ache and throbbing. it hurts when i chew ?

Head injury: If you can chew that is a good sign. Are your teeth OK? Unlikely a jaw fracture if that is OK, however, if symptoms are not improving in a couple days get checked. As far as head injury, if you did not pass out and as long as you are not on some blood thinner the headache can be treated with Tylenol (acetaminophen) and rest. If worsening headache, vomiting or you feel weak on one side get checked.
