Sore throat: You might have an infection like strep, that needs antibiotics so you should see your doctor. Allergies can cause throat irritation too, but your doctor should take a look at you and he/she might do a throat swab on you too see if you have strep or some other infection that requires antibiotics. In the mean time, you can take some motrin.
