Probably: vertigo or Meniere's disease. Patient will need ENT evaluation, vertigo testing and a medical workup to include blood testing and cardiac evaluation.

Maybe: Usually inner ear prob, room spins. Light headed, blood flow to brain issue. Dizzy and light headed are very different and have very different causes, but can be difficult for patients to put into words. If dizzy, room spins, like on a merry go round. If light headed, when I stand from sitting or lying down I feel unsteady and have to hold on for a second and it passes. Both need eval. Dr R
