Relax: With severe itch you may rub so vigorously as to cause a yellow, sticky discharge. When the itch stops you can stop scratching and they will heal. Water is good for this. Wash. Hydrocortisone cream, rubbing with ice may help. Rub with a wet aspirin [not coated] can help. If you have bacitracin, neosporin, or triple antibiotic, THROW IT AWAY.
