Urologist: Your symptoms are not typical. I recommend that you be evaluated by a urologist at which time you'll be examined for prostate disorders and will have appropriate urine studies looking for diabetes, stones or infection. Pelvic discomfort during urination is not normal. The rapid heart rate may be secondary to discomfort you're experiencing.
