See cardiologist: You may be having some iron deficiency anemia in addition tothalassemia minor , talk to your doctor,to get blood checked up. for hemoglobin and other blood counts For your heart racing better get cardiologist opinion and get investigated .

Many Causes..: Mild anemia can occur with Thal minor. But I would look also into other causes of racing heart, to include cardiac causes soon. Recommend seeing your doctor for a full cardiac evaluation and some supporting blood work as they see necessary.
