Type??: Most of these on young females are TRICHOLEMMAL cysts. You forgot to mention the size, location, or any indication of inflammation. Usual procedure is to use lidocaine with a 32 needle, open the skin, deliver the cyst out intact, close the skin with 3 or 4 000 sutures or subcutaneous sutures. The small amount of hair lost will regrow at 1cm a month.
