Unlikely from clips: A majority of laparoscopic cholecystectomies are done with clips to secure the cystic duct. The clips are there for a good reason - I would seriously doubt your pain is from the clips themselves. Would check with your doctor or surgeon just to be sure nothing else is going on, including a retained stone, or peptic ulcer disease.
