Yes you can: Try loratadine (claritin), preferably in an ER/urgent care waiting room, stay for an hour after ingesting the first dose, if nothing happens, leave. It is rare for antihistamines to cause such side effect or allergy to the drug. Claritin is a different class of antihistamines, hopefully you won't have the same problem with, if it causes problems as Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) see your doctor
