Not unexpected: Tampons are smaller at insertion than they will be after absorbing blood.If you are a virginal teen, there may have been enough space to let you put it in but now the opening is too small to let it out. You need to let your mom know & discuss your options.It needs to come out before you get an infection.You might be able to extract it with less pain after applying xylocaine (lidocaine) ointment. or see doc
