Would be good to go: It often takes a long time, years, for most people to decide to seek support. Not going does not mean things are not bad. Going does not mean things are really bad. Do something ...: Depression is a mental health disorder that affects most of us at one time or another. It is characterised by a sadness, irritability, loss of enjoyment in life and a reduced ability to think clearly. See www.mentalhealth.org.nz/get-help/a-z/resource/13/depression for more information. If mild depression you may not require medical treatment, but Dr / Psychologist review still helpful to diagnose.

No: You may just be avoiding the diagnosis and possible need to take medication or talk to a therapist. It really is painless and there is NO SHAME in seeking help. Depression can worsen over time and if you have any other health issue, depression has been shown to worsen the outcomes for treatment for those other issues. Talk to your Doctor. You'll be glad you did.
