A member asked:

I have de quervien & take nsaids with no relief. i had inflammations of flexor & extansor tendons of wrist whole last year. can splint help? or pt/ot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tendonitis: Tendon inflammation generally responds poorly to oral anti-inflammatories due to the poor blood supply of tendons. Topical ice, splinting, avoiding the offending activitiy and seeing a physical therapist can all be beneficial. Sometimes a steroid injection can also help.
