A 46-year-old male asked:
Is the otc (non-prescription) supplement l-tyrosine compatible with moclobemide?

Moclobemide: Is a mono amine oxidase inhibitor, MAOI, an antidepressant, better not to combine drugs having the same effect unless prescribed/supervised by a doctor. L tyrosine helps to decrease stress and helps depression symptoms too, it does interact with some drugs like levo-dopa and thyroxine, but the MAOIs interact with multiple medications, so be cautious, good luck
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
