Always protected: A woman who is properly taking her birth control pills, and is beyond her first pack of pills, has contraceptive protection ALL the time, without the need for Plan B. Condoms can be used to help prevent diseases, and may decrease vaginal odor or discharge (by not having disintegrating sperm/semen hang around inside her vagina). If worried, one can do a pregnancy test 3 weeks after Plan B.
