Reduce all risks: for atheroscerosis, which can cause stroke and/or heart attack. Monitor blood pressure and try to keep ~ 120/70 or lower. Eat healthy diet, low in salt, and low in cholesterol and fat. Exercise regularly at least 30 minutes/day x 6 days/week. Take 81 mg aspirin every day. Don't smoke cigarettes. If cholesterol is elevated take a statin. Consider an exercise tolerance test.

May be harmless: Vessels often calcify without any atherosclerosis. Another entity called Monckeberg's can be a mimic and it is harmless. Just do the sensible stuff. Exercise, don't smoke, eat sensibly recognizing food choices are less important than pop wisdom dictates. Lad you are interested in a long healthy life.
