Can be normal: When a young woman first starts having her cycle the bodies hormones are trying to get regulated and until it does the cycle may be off track. Often you will not ovulate (release an egg) regularly and this can make you miss cycles. It can easily be regulated with some form of birth control (pills , patch, ring). If this doesn't make your cycle come monthly then further eval can be done-.
