If i'm on minocycline for rosacea and notice more bumps after 3 weeks of use should i get off of it?

Continue treatment: Sometimes one should stay longer than 3 weeks to see the actual benefit of the medication. However, Doxycycline tends to have more anti-inflamatory properties. In fact, the antibiotic is taken for its anti-inflammatory properties and not for antimicrobial properites. You may want to try low dose Doxycycline form your dermatologist.

Rosacea : Talk to your dermatologist if you are experiencing a rosacea flare. A change in dosage or type of antibiotic may be recommended at that point.
