Ringworm: It is important to continue to use the cream for an extra week, even after the rash disappears, since small amounts of fungus can still exist in the skin. You can use ketoconazole three times a day. If ketoconazole doesn't cure the ringworm, then oral antifungals like Lamisil (terbinafine) or ketoconazole tablets can be prescribed.
