A member asked:

Is vascular hardening dysfunction the same thing and erectile dysfunction?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to either obtain or maintain an adequate quality erection for penetration and sexual activity. 'Vascular hardening' is synonymous with atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis, the most common cause of ED, which are accelerated with aging, HTN, diabetes, and high lipids and cholesterol. Nervous system, hormonal, local and psychological factors also involved.
