What does gerd or acid reflux feel like? i have trouble speaking clearly and throat tightness and want to know if it is related.

Sounds like you've: already been diagnosed with reflux. GERD (esophagitis) can develop if you've had untreated reflux for a while. Reflux sometimes causes a burning sensation in the stomach or lower esophagus and belching. Occasionally stomach contents can reflux up to the throat and you can taste or feel them. Reflux can cause hoarseness, cough and sore throat. Hard 4 me to say if these symptoms are related.
