Father has 10% heart function and fluid in legs/feet which is weeping. currently on frusimide drip in hospital. what can we expect?

Poor prognosis: With such a low ejection fraction, 10%, prognosis is poor. Having said that, hopefully not only on lasix (furosemide) drip but also on some inotropic drip - dobutamine; maybe even renal dose dopamine to effectuate "compensated"state. Then transition to a barrage of oral meds; and AicD. Trust the underlying cause of low EF has been ascertained and also treated.
