EF10%: 10% EF is severe,if properly managed is survivable. Diuresis ,is critical start w/ IV. Dietary adherence to very lo salt diet is essential as is medication compliance Individuals with low EF get defibrillators because they are at higher risk for fatal arrythmias. Check if has blockage as resolution of blockage with stent can improve function, as can unloading the excess fluid. f/u w/doc

Heart failure: That sounds like a fairly severe situation, unfortunately. An ejection fraction of 10% is significant and very difficult to treat by even our most aggressive measures.
