See below: Canestan cream (antifungal) generally used to treat vaginal yeast (Candida) infections. No contraindications to having sex while treating such an infection though if symptomatic, best to defer sex until any irritation resolves. Though I am not aware of any direct toxic effect of Canestan on sperm, any vaginal cream likely to inhibit sperm motility and decrease the chance of sperm reaching cervix.
