How do i get lice out of dreads?

Treat with meds: Live lice should respond to topical pesticide lotions, such as OTC permethrin or Rx melathion, but it will not remove the eggs or nits, so retreatment in a week will usually catch any lice that hatch in the meantime. To completely remove killed lice and nits, only fine tooth combing will do. Be sure to treat clothing and linens as well.http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/lice/head/treatment.html
